Sayyid Al-Hakeem Iraq is on the starting track, overcome many challenges
During His Eminence’s visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, presented the Iraqi political scene developments and the events leading up to it and its future in the Egyptian Center for Strategic Studies. His Eminence indicated the historical relationship between Iraq and Egypt and the roles played by the two republics in their international, regional, Arabic, and Islamic dimensions. H.E. described the two countries as a supporter of consolidating, strengthening, and consolidating achievements.
His Eminence stated that Iraq faced massive challenges and a confused situation due to the transition from an inclusive to a democratic system with regional and international chaos, and affirmed that Iraq today lives in stable security similar to the rest of the region except in some desert and wilderness pockets.
H.E. indicated having a ruling coalition with a national title, and a government headed by a person known for his integrity, efficiency, and career ascension. H.E. illustrated the social coherence of the Iraqi society and refused any inciting or sectarian dialogue. H.E. affirmed that this discourse is no longer a trending package, as sectarianism was a tool manipulated by some for political gains.
H.E. indicated some gained achievements, including the peaceful transfer of power and transferring of missions smoothly. H.E. affirmed that the presidents of Iraq faced either being hanged, remaining in power at any cost, or being banished. Yet, today they face stepping down and returning to their normal lives.
H.E. affirmed that the past two decades were brutal on the Iraqi citizen, but these are minuscule numbers in building nations and people and indicated Iraq’s role in adopting the stability projects of the region, such as the Irani-Saudi dialogue and others. H.E. stressed curbing the region’s crises and providing a helping hand in solving the issues of some confused counties. H.E. affirmed that the Arabic nation can play a significant role in the integration and cooperation of the four nations, namely the Arab, Turkish, Iranian, and Kurdish nations.
H.E. affirmed that the data indicated Iraq is standing strong, and called to transition from the current stability to sustainable stability, establish rules of work, and manage differences, we also stressed the role of study centers in finding solutions as part of the popular diplomacy.
