Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets H.E. President Abel Fattah El-Sisi upon arrival in Egypt
At the beginning of our visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the President, His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on 28/5/2023, and discussed with His Excellency views on common interests’ topics.
Within the Iraqi-Egyptian relationship, Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed the importance of deepening and strengthening the relationship in what reflects positively on the brotherly people, especially in the economics of common interests. His Eminence illustrated support for growth coordination between Baghdad and Cairo in different fields relating to regional concerns and reiterated hope for the desired outcomes of the bilateral committee between the countries which is expected to hold its meeting in the upcoming month.
Regionally, Sayyid Al-Hakeem lauded the positive atmosphere in the region and how imperative to sustain, develop, and consolidate its pillars to reinforce the security and stability of the region, and warned of challenges that might face the region in case this positivity falls apart.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem reviewed the regional crises with His Excellency and affirmed the importance of solving the crises facing several Arabic countries, especially in brotherly Sudan, with the importance of granting the disputed parties the chance to have a dialogue.
Internationally, Sayyid Al-Hakeem lauded the moderated role of sisterly Egypt in dealing with these complications through dialogue, adopting it, and resorting to political solutions.
