Mr. Al-Hakim calls on the children of Kirkuk to adhere to their diversity and community harmony
From Kirkuk, the capital of Iraqi diversity, Mr. Amar Al-Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement, met with a generous gathering of elders and clan leaders of all components, praising the social fabric and harmony, recalling the historical relationship he shares with them, and stressing maintaining and sustaining this relationship and handing down to children and grandchildren.
H.E. affirmed that Iraq left a difficult transitional phase behind after 2003, stating that the transition from a dictatorial regime to a democratic regime was marred by many of the complexities, problems, and fears expressed by each party in its own way, calling to learn from the experiences of the past as Kirkuk is for its people and can’t be reduced by a specific title.
H.E. also called for wisdom and rationality, as there are no winners in conflicts, indicating that the world views us admirably by virtue of political, security, economic, and social stability.
H.E. referred to Iraq's interest in giant projects, including the Dry Canal Project, stating that the integration of interests with others enhances the status of Iraq and its political system. H.E. called to review the experience of the 25th Gulf Cup and its reflection on Iraq's image and how Arab and Gulf brothers interacted with it.
H.E. also called for the investment of internal and external will seeking to stabilize Iraq and see it in its interest, stressing positive cumulative and sound planning and transforming current stability into sustainable stability, while also emphasizing actions to combat corruption and provide services and jobs. H.E. urged the people of Kirkuk to adhere to their diversity as their city is the capital of diversity in Iraq, stressing that good coexistence in Kirkuk would not stand at the borders of the governorate, but extend to the whole of Iraq.
