Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Imam Al-Hakeem’s fatwa prevented the military from Kurdish people genocide
From the Kurdistan region and in Sulaymaniyah governorate, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, participated in Friday prayers at the mosque, and Husseiniyat Imam Sayyid Muhsin Al-Hakeem “MASHS” on 12/5/2023, and spoke with the worshippers, praising the relationship between Iraqi components, especially Arabs and Kurds, indicating the historical stations that demonstrated the brotherhood of the Iraqi people in good times, and quoting Imam Al-Hakeem’s fatwa that prevented the military machine from committing genocide against the Kurdish people.
His Eminence explained that the position of Imam Al-Hakeem was not only his time and stage but extended for future generations. This attitude protected the Kurdish people and saved them and strengthened Iraq's unity. His Eminence called on all to assume their responsibilities by launching national and unitary attitudes both of their locations and their influence and not to abandon this responsibility as everyone has their influence and expressions, stating that positions were based on a word capable of changing the course of history.
H.E. also referred to the nature of the relationship with our Kurdish people and with the late Mam Jalal “Allah’s mercy on his soul” and the two most important points of the struggle against dictatorship and building the Iraqi experience, recalling the positions of the leaders is necessary to introduce them to generations and to make a mark to serve the Iraqi people in all of its spectra and components.
