Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets Saudi Crown Prince, lauds Yemen crisis measures, Syria status, Riyadh-Tehran relations restoration
On a Ramadan visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom, His Highness Mohammed Bin Salman. The two sides exchanged blessings over the advent of the Holy month of Ramadan and the Eid Al-Fitr, 15/4/2023. They also wished the two friendly countries and people more prosperity, brilliance, safety, and security.
The two sides discussed the political landscape updates in Iraq and the region, as well as the interrelationships between Baghdad and Riadh. Sayyid Al-Hakeem expressed support for any measures seeking to cease violence and fight in Brotherly Yemen and restore the pivotal role of this country and its regional and Arab status. His Eminence expressed rejoicing at the steps of the ongoing operation to restore Syria to its seat at the upcoming Arabic League Summit, affirming that the political developments between Riyadh and Tehran will reflect positively over the region, as well as lauding the language of moderation and understanding that prevails between the factions of the region, thus reaching a unified vision to manage relations.
His Eminence expressed concern over the unfortunate events in Sudan, hoping to treat the crisis in this Arabic brotherly country through dialogue and understanding between all of the parties in conflict.
Concerning Iraq, His Eminence illustrated that Iraq is accomplishing achievements on the political, social, security, and service levels. This is due to “Running the State Coalition” supporting the country, the return of the social fabric to its original state after defeating terrorism and it losing its social incubators, and the oil prices that resulted in relative financial abundance, thus enabling the government to provide services and jobs. His Eminence reiterated the importance of cooperation in joint challenges, especially climate change, calling for more cooperation in the scientific research field and its applications.
