Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirms restoring Damascus’s regional, international role
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met His Excellency President Bashar Al-Assad In Damascus, the Syrian Capital, on 6/4/2023, and exchanged blessings over the advent of Blessed Ramadan. His Eminence reiterated to His Excellency and the Syrian People his condolences regarding the last earthquake incident.
They discussed the political landscape updates in Iraq and the region and the relationship between Baghdad and Damascus on the political, economic, and security levels.
His Eminence illustrated the importance of Damascus regaining its regional and international role and indicated that Syria’s stability will reflect positively on the stability of the region in general. His Eminence also valued the steps taken toward calming the political landscape in the region. Moreover, His Eminence stressed sustaining dialogue to overcome all differences.
Security-wise, His Eminence affirmed the importance of maintaining security coordination, especially since terrorism now represents a security threat to everyone.
