Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to activate Iraq-U.S. agreements
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the Ambassador of the United States of America, Her Excellency Ms. Alina L. Romanowski on 19/2/2023, and affirmed the importance of strengthening the relationship between Baghdad and Washington in all fields, activating the strategic framework agreement articles between the two countries, and maintaining the pre-emptive security operations to hit terrorism nests.
His Eminence and Romanowski discussed cooperation in the field of energy to further develop Iraq’s capabilities in oil, gas, and renewable energy, as well as working on resolving environmental issues and climate change.
His Eminence illustrated that Iraq is presenting promising investment opportunities in the field of building and reconstruction and is dealing with everyone based on common interests and the sovereignty of Iraq.
His Eminence called to regulate the relationship between Iraq and The Global Coalition against Daesh within the Iraqi security agreements with the Global Coalition, and activate all of the agreements that have been made within the exchange visits of the two sides. H.E. also affirmed the importance of developing the Iraqi bank system and adopting automation and governance in Iraqi commercial transactions.
