Sayyid Al-Hakeem received Dr. Al-Abadi, discusses political, economic updates
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the former Prime Minister and head of the Leadership Council of the National State’s Powers Alliance, His Excellency Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, Thursday, 9/2/2023, and discussed the views regarding the political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as the economic and social reality in Iraq, the challenges facing the government, and the ways to overcome them. His Eminence reiterated his support for the Iraqi government in all of its economic measures, and Iraq’s openness to its international and regional surroundings. These measures must become time-bound work programs.
Moreover, His Eminence called to complete the stalled projects, especially the ones that are in direct contact with the citizens’ needs, and haste the preparation of the state’s budget, so that the executive authorities can implement their assigned projects. His Eminence affirmed the importance of maintaining the security and military efforts to end the gangs of ISIL, this can be done through strengthening the intelligence efforts and pre-emptive strikes.
