Sayyid Al-Hakeem to American Ambassador: necessity to deal with Dollar Limiters, mitigate Iraqi Dinar impact
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received the Ambassador of the United States of America, Her Excellency Ms. Alina L. Romanowski on 23/1/2023. H.E. affirmed the need to have parameters flexibility in dealing with Dollar and mitigate its impact on the Iraqi Dinner.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem discussed the political landscape developments in Iraq and the region and Baghdad – Washington political and economic bilateral ties in his office. His Eminence discussed the success of Gulf Cup 25 and how it altered the incorrect impressions of Iraq and its positive impact on Iraqis and boasted their morals and pride in their own country.
H.E. called for a bigger presence by the US in the fields of energy within a central administration through the Federal Government. H.E. also lauded the progress in the field of connecting the electricity of Iraq and several regional countries.
H.E. called for extensive economic cooperation between Baghdad and Washington and investment in Iraq’s openness that is based on the national interest and preservation of its sovereignty. Moreover, H.E. affirmed the importance of flexibility in the Parameters of dealing with the dollar and controlling its negative effects on the Iraqi dinar and rise in prices.
