Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Iraq won’t be in any equation other than that of Palestine and its people’s interests
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement at his office in Baghdad, received the representative of the Palestinian President, Secretary General of Fatah’s Central Committee, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Major General Jibril Rajoub, in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Ahmed Akel and the accompanying delegation on 9/1/2023. His Eminence thanked his Excellency for conveying the Palestinian leaders’ greetings, affirming that Iraq will not be in any equation other than that of Palestine and the interests of its people.
His Eminence reiterated Iraq and its people's supportive and unwavering attitude towards the Palestinian cause and that both would remain a supporter of Palestine in all positions and events.
H.E. called for greater Palestinian unity and said about the need for all to unify their word and overcome differences. H.E. stressed that the opportunity existed to speak up about the Palestinian people's grievance and suffering from the Israeli occupation and its expansionist policies, stating that Iraq would remain a supporter of Palestine in all positions and events.
