Sayyid Al-Hakeem: The Public’s reluctant to participate in recent elections, a sign of resentment and dissatisfaction
In the guest place of Sheikh Fahim Khaza’l Kheshan and the host of Al-Barakat clan, 22/12/2022, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met a group of Sheiks and dignitaries of this generous clan, praising the sacrifices of Al-Barakat in facing the dictatorship and confronting of terrorism, indicating that Iraq is still on the rise despite the challenges.
His Eminence referred to the results of the recent elections that were disrupted and caused disruption, due to the imbalance in many of the processes’ details. H.E. explained that the lack of broad participation in them was the result of indignation and dissatisfaction of the Iraqi voter with his reality. H.E. pointed out that services are one of the most important links between the citizen and his political system.
H.E. reiterated his call for the establishment of the Governorates and Disadvantaged Areas’ Support Fund to achieve social justice. H.E. also reiterated his support for Mr. Al-Sudani's Government, stating that the success of the Government means serving the people and fulfilling their aspirations, as we have no other option than for this government to succeed. And for that, it must be supported and aided.
H.E. warned against a plan to empty society of its social, religious, and political symbols, stating that there is a scheme that strips symbols of their value and is one of the plans to target the Iraqi people.
