Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls for agriculture to become productive, profitable for farmers

While meeting several sheiks and dignitaries of the tribes of the beloved Wasit province on 19/12/2022, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, lauded the great role of the province in the history of Iraq. His Eminence recalled the immortal stations that he shared with them in a march that’s been going on for a hundred years.
His Eminence listened to the valuable interventions of the sheiks and dignitaries and discussed with them the developments of the political landscape in Iraq, as well as the nature of the challenges of the previous stage due to the imbalance between the votes and seats. In addition to the relative decline of participation percentage in the last elections due to resentment and discontent. H.E. affirmed the value of the opportunity that Iraq possesses in the current stage, and expressed it as valuable.
H.E. stated that the credit for the government’s success factors goes to Mr. Al-Sudani’s personality, his career’s ascension which gave him knowledge on most of the files, and the relative financial abundance. H.E. indicated that the government is dedicating a lot of focus to the provinces and giving its services priority. H.E. stressed supporting agriculture and the Iraqi farmer, adding that transforming agriculture to a productive sector necessitates that the agriculture process must be profitable for the farmer for it to be sustained. H.E. also called to modernize the management of the service sector in Iraq, and include the private sector while providing jobs and training the public sector employees.
