Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses activating delayed projects, calls for government employee capacity-building
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, discussed with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Planning, Dr. Mohammed Tameem on 17/12/2022, the delayed projects, ways to activate them, develop the administrative reality in Iraq, capacity-building for governmental employees, and strict monitoring through Quality Control Organization.
His Eminence affirmed the importance of activating the delayed project and the importance of prioritizing the nearly finished projects. H.E. also called for more flexibility between the Ministry of Planning and other governmental institution and local governments, as well as reducing red tape, and adopting governance.
H.E. also affirmed the importance of the population census, as the census is not a regular count. But it is also a database of the Iraqi people through a time period. In addition, H.E. stated that any planning procedure needs a meticulous census and sufficient database.
Moreover, H.E. indicated the importance of capacity-building for government employees through specialized intensive workshops in information technology as a prerequisite for governance. In addition, H.E. called for a bigger role in quality control at border control to limit the import of improper goods.
