Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirms government’s program, legislation’s coherence
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, in his office in Baghdad, met a delegation of independent members of the parliament, headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Mr. Muhsin Al-Mandalawi on 7/11/2022. They discussed the political scene developments, ways to support the government, and activating the parliament on the legislating and monitoring levels.
H.E stressed the importance of legislating laws that are in direct contact with the citizen, affirming the importance of settling the budget as soon as it arrives from the Cabinet. H.E. illustrated the importance of the coherence of the legislation with the government’s program and priorities in the upcoming phase.
H.E. also stressed regaining the citizen’s trust in the political system, assuring that independent MPs have more room to visit citizens, move freely, explain the nature of achievements that have been made, and spread positivity and hope.
