Sayyid Al-Hakeem to Hajj and Umrah Commission Chairman: to increase Iraqi pilgrims
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the Head of the Hajj and Umrah Commission, His Eminence Sheik Sami Al-Masoudi, and discussed Iraq's political, cultural, and social scene and the role of the Hajj and Umrah commission in bringing pilgrims to holy House of Allah on 4/11/2022. H.E. also commended the effort of the supporting authorities to the Iraqi pilgrim’s delegation such as the health and security services and media institutions.
H.E. indicated that Iraq is one of the most performing peoples of the Umrah ritual, which requires a redoubling of efforts in the provision of services and the opening and diversification of border crossings towards the Holy House. H.E also called for an increase in Iraq's share of pilgrim’s numbers through political, diplomatic, and social channels.
