Sayyid Al-Hakeem receives Indian Ambassador to Baghdad reply
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received a reply from Indian Ambassador to Baghdad Prashant Pise in response to the condolence letter sent by His Eminence on the incident of the suspension bridge collapse in the Indian city of Morbi. Mr. Pise thanked His Eminence for his gentle words and noble feelings that will have a good memorable impact on the government and people of India, the following is the text of the letter:
Your Eminence,
In these difficult and tragic times caused by the suspension footbridge incident in the state of Gujarat. Your kind message bears the words of sympathy, solidarity, and a plethora of noble feelings towards the Indian victims and injured. This is a confirmation that relations between India and Iraq since its inception are humanitarian relations based on affection and good feelings before being commercial or otherwise. These relationships deserve to be constantly strengthened and developed for the benefit of the two friendly people.
We sincerely extend our thanks for your kind words and noble feelings that will have a good memorable impact on the Government and people of India.
