cSayyid Al-Hakeem congratulates Al-Sudani’s Government on gaining parliament confidence, calls to combat corruption, strike the corrupt, dry up sources

Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, congratulated His Excellency Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, his ministerial team, and his government’s platform on obtaining the confidence of the parliament on 27/10/2022, praising him and his negotiating team to resolve the government formation file within two weeks, in a precedent that hasn’t been witnessed by previous governments.
With the formation of the government and the political impasse has come to an end, H.E. stressed that all political powers should put the interests of the nation and the people before anything else, and put it as a priority before any partisan or factional interest. They should also support the reform paths, combating corruption, and serving citizens.
His Eminence renewed his support for Al-Sudani’s government, as it is required to be the best connection between the political system and the citizens. Also, work on restoring trust and bridging the relationship, and maintain dialogue and communication with the opposition powers. Advocating and opposing stems from a national motivation to serve the citizens and the nation. H.E. urged His Excellency to open the dialogue channels and connect with the neighboring countries, the region, and the world, and to have it based on the national interest and the preservation of Iraqi sovereignty.
His Eminence called on the government to combat corruption, strike the biggest of them, dry up its sources and support the regulatory and legislative institutions and the media to recover the stolen funds in accordance with the law, away from slander and the language of revenge and taunting. H.E. confirmed that the two legislative and executive authorities must have the utmost integration on all of the political, security, economic, and development levels, and prepare the correct ground to legislate laws that are in direct contact with the lives of the citizens, the same are on the implementation path, especially those that have been disrupted for political and unknown reasons since previous parliamentary sessions, wishing Al-Sudani’s government success and achieving what our people aspire.
