Sayyid Al-Hakeem renews call to political powers to support Al-Sudani and his upcoming ministerial team
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received the Ambassador of the United States of America, Her Excellency Mrs. Alina L. Romanowski, 24/10/2022, and exchanged views on the political scene developments in Iraq and the region and the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Washington and ways to strengthen them to serve the interests of both countries.
His Eminence confirmed that Iraq is proceeding with the formation of the next government. H.E. renewed his call for a national service government and for the political blocs to support Mr. Al-Sudani and his ministerial team so that they can provide services, provide job opportunities and restore the citizen’s confidence in the political system. H.E. also reiterated our position not to participate in the next government and renewed our call to represent the Iraqi components and to maintain the social and cultural fabric of the country.
His Eminence pointed out the importance of maintaining Iraq's balance in regional and international files and the roles it played in converging the views of the region. H.E. listened to Her Excellency about her country welcoming the assignment of Mr. Al-Sudani and her readiness to maintain the bilateral ties between Baghdad and Washington.
