Sayyid Al-Hakeem to National Security Adviser: it’s imperative to deal with terrorism from its security angle
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met in his office with the Iraqi National Security Adviser, Mr. Qassim Al-Araji on 24/10/2022, and discussed the Iraqi national security files and ways to strengthen them, as well as the relationship with neighboring countries and the region and the ways to sustain the momentum in the fight against terrorism and extremist groups.
H.E. illustrated the need to deal with the terrorist challenge from its security angle and said that the security treatment must have similar treatments rather on the social and economic levels. H.E. pointed out that improving the living reality and accommodating young people through ambitious programs and plans would consolidate the current security reality.
Moreover, H.E. emphasized maintaining security communication with neighboring countries and the region and preserving the gains that have been achieved in the recent period, taking into consideration that the security and safety of Iraq is an entry point for the security and safety of the region and the integrity of the regional system. In addition, H.E emphasized the political and diplomatic aspects to preserve the security and sovereignty of Iraq.
