Sayyid Al-Hakeem, to announces Iraq's entering water danger is a warning bell, imminent danger
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, considered the Ministry of Water Resources announcement that Iraq had entered into real danger, a severe drought crisis, an alarm siren, and an immediate threat, calling for care and compensation for the affected cities.
His Eminence tweeted “The announcement of the Ministry of Water Resources represents Iraq’s entry into real danger, a severe drought crisis, an alarm siren, and an immediate threat that jeopardize the present and the future of the country’s economy, agriculture, development, environment, health, and even its demography. The crisis, in addition to requiring the adoption of every bilateral and international diplomatic method to compel the neighboring states to respect Iraq’s water share, calls for a responsible stand from the executive and legislative bodies to enact laws that protect those affected by the drought crisis, particularly the central and southern provinces, and to work to mitigate its devastating effects and warn against the waves of the epidemic and the resulting diseases.”
