Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls for greater role for religious institutions to foster civil peace and support diversity
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, discussed with the head of the Sunni Endowment Office, Dr. Othman Al-Juhaishi on 22/8/2022, the role of religious institutions in protecting civil peace and caring for and supporting social diversity. Moreover, they discussed the latest developments in political and social affairs where His Eminence emphasized the importance of a discourse of moderation and the need for Iraqi society to have a united word and the word of truth.
His Eminence stressed the need for religious institutions to play a greater role in preventing and addressing voices calling for discord or inciting strife, urging everyone to assume their role, each in their position, in contributing to ending the current political impasse.
