Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to diversify Iraqi income sources, support agriculture and farmers
In the guest-place of the brother Sheik Kareem Tahimur, and in the honorable Tufail tribe hospitality, and with the presence of Sheik Hussein Al-Nour, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met a group of sheiks and dignitaries of the Tufail tribes in Iraq and the sheiks and dignitaries of the Babylon province on 17/6/2022, where His Eminence praised the history of the tribe and its role in the critical stages of Iraq and in the fight against terrorism, and before that, confronting the dictatorship and offering the martyrs sacrifices for that confrontation while expressing his regret that the government was not formed after eight months of the electoral practice that came to address the previous political impasse.
His Eminence said that one of the most important reasons for the current impasse is the unbalanced results of the recent elections, and from this point of view came the decision not to participate in the next government, and to intensify efforts and invest in relations to serve Iraq and bring views closer.
His Eminence called for a government that serves its people, stressing to benefit from the experiences of the past and to leave the situation of quotas on important sites, stressing that only service can bridge trust between the citizen and the political system and political powers.
His Eminence pointed out the necessity of reflecting the financial abundance on the living reality and diversifying the sources of Iraqi income, especially the issue of agriculture, calling for support for the farmer and raising the prices of grain marketed to the state to transform agriculture into a profitable and productive process for all.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed that diversifying sources of income requires attention to agriculture, industry, tourism, and investment, adding that the other benefits of agriculture are summarized in the pride of national identity, providing job opportunities, and addressing desertification, as Iraq is able to provide part of the food basket for the region.
