Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses bilateral relations, political scene developments with Turkish ambassador
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, discussed during his meeting with the Turkish ambassador in Baghdad, His Excellency Ali Riza Güney on 13/6/2022, the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the region, as well as the development of bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey to serve the interests of the two countries, stressing the importance of solving outstanding problems through dialogue and giving priority to the commonalities.
On the developments of the situation in Iraq, His Eminence stated that crises are solvable if everyone has the will to resolve them and that the public interest prevails over private interests, adding that the parliamentary system is difficult to make, but at the same time it preserves the representation of the components and prevents the exclusivity of the Iraqi decision and the possibility of going to slippages.
