Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses political scene developments with Australian, American, and Danish ambassadors, bilateral relations between them and Iraq
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, discussed during his meeting with the Australian ambassador, H.E. Mrs. Paula Elizabeth, and the Danish, H.E. Mr. Stig Paolo Piras on 8/6/2022, the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the region, and the bilateral relations between Iraq, Australia, and Denmark.
His Eminence congratulated Mrs. Paula Elizabeth on the formation of the Australian government, stressing the openness of Iraq to everyone in a way that guarantees common interests and preserves the sovereignty of Iraq.
His Eminence called on everyone to invest in the opportunities offered by Iraq in the field of reconstruction and services.
Politically, H.E. renewed his call to end the political impasse and for everyone to assume their responsibilities by forming a government capable of achieving the aspirations of the Iraqi people, indicating that the initiative we presented notes everyone’s proposals at a time when we affirmed and reiterate our unwillingness to participate in next government.
In a related context, His Eminence congratulated the new US ambassador to Baghdad, Mrs. Elena Romanowsky, assuming the head of her country's mission in Iraq, wishing her success in her diplomatic mission.
His Eminence stressed the importance of developing relations between Baghdad and Washington in the political, economic, and cultural fields, in addition to combating terrorism, H.E. stated the need to expedite the formation of the Iraqi government and adopt dialogue as a way to solve the current political crisis.
On the region's issues, H.E called on the major countries to contribute to solving problems and achieving security and stability in the region, which would contribute to the security and stability of the world as a whole.
