Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses Baghdad-Madrid bilateral ties with Spanish Ambassador
During His Eminence’s meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Baghdad on 5/6/2022, Sayyid Al-Hakeem explained the importance of the European Union countries to Iraq, as Iraq is open to all in the context of the mutual interest principle. We called for a bigger role in putting an end to conflicts to achieve stability and empowering the people of the world to enjoy its goodness.
Concerning the political reality in Iraq, His Eminence affirmed that the political crisis is of internal and external factors, on top of which is the lack of balance due to the recent elections. H.E. stated that the delay in forming the government is having a negative impact on Iraqis. This delay is one of the taxes of democratic parliamentary systems. Where visions, ideology, and proposals differ. H.E. called to continue the dialogue to exit the current crisis.
