Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses political scene developments with Plasschaert, renews Iraq's need for a balanced government
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Ms. Jeanine Plasschaert, 24/4/2022, and discussed the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the state of political impasse in the political process, where visions coincided on the need to form a balanced government capable of achieving the aspirations of the people Iraqi.
His Eminence referred to his recent initiative and said in his speech that the solution is no more than everyone’s concession for Iraq and putting the priority of public interests over private interests, indicating that the previous political impasses were only resolved by the parties sitting at the dialogue table and meeting in the middle.
