Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem discusses political scene developments with American ambassador
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received the Ambassador of the United States of America, His Excellency Matthew Tuller, 18/4/2022, and discussed with him the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the region, as well as the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Washington and ways to develop them to serve the interests of the two countries.
His Eminence stressed the need to exit the current crisis, as he expressed his belief that the initiative that he presented represents a more effective way out of the existing political impasse. H.E. also called for the adoption of dialogue in resolving internal, regional, and international conflicts, especially the Russian-Ukrainian war, which had and still has serious repercussions on the stability and global food security, adding that hardening of positions complicates the scene and causes more harm to the general interests of countries and peoples.
