Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls on political parties to adhere to democratic paths and work to strengthen it
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, called on the political parties to adhere to the democratic path and work on consolidating and strengthening it.
His Eminence tweeted on the 34th anniversary of Al-Anfal crime:
"The notorious Al-Anfal crime is considered one of the most heinous crimes that our Iraqi people have suffered over the decades of the defunct dictatorial rule. Our Kurdish people were subjected to all kinds of torments of oppression, abuse, displacement, mass graves, confiscation of property, and bulldozing of lands, orchards, and farms.” His Eminence saluted the victims of this tragedy and added, "to ensure that these tragic and horrific scenes to never recur, we urge the partners of the political scene to adhere to the democratic path chosen by the Iraqi people and to work on consolidating and strengthening it through the unification of ranks and setting aside factional and partisan interests and achieving the aspirations of the people from north to south.
