Sayyid Al-Hakeem: The political majority must be characterized by patriotism and balance
In the dialogue symposium organized by the National Council of Tribes and Clans of Iraq, in the presence of the two dear Sheiks, Mr. Na’eem Al-Suhail and Mr. Hisham Al-Suhail, Wednesday 6/2022, Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, praised the role and status of the clans in the Iraqi political and social reality, and the status of this institution despite all the targeting projects that it was exposed to, explaining the nature of the current political crisis, and that it was the result of the imbalance that emerged from the results of the recent elections.
His Eminence pointed out that consensual governments did not achieve the required despite the multiplicity of scenarios, stressing that the absence of an alternative threatens the status of the political system and the majority government provides an alternative provided that it is a balanced national majority.
His Eminence said that a balanced national majority maintains societal representation, and what we need is a single standard in dealing with those wishing to participate from all components, calling for the language of dialogue to prevail. H.E. stressed the importance of agreeing on plans and programs and how to achieve the aspirations of Iraqi society.
