Sayyid Al-Hakeem to Egyptian Ambassador: Iraq’s political impasse is due to balance confusion left by recent elections
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, during his meeting with the Egyptian Ambassador in Baghdad, His Excellency Mr. Waleed Mohammed Ismail, on Monday 4/4/2022, discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between Baghdad and Cairo, and the latest developments in the Iraqi and regional political affairs, where His Eminence referred to Egypt’s position in the region and its role in resolving the differences and the predominance of the language of dialogue, indicating the nature of the Iraqi political scene and adding that the current crisis was the result of the confusion of balance left by the results of the recent elections. Restoring the balance to its normal state is enough to dismantle this crisis.
