Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Book fairs are one of the messages of life and we call for its perpetuation with clear timings annually
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, discussed with the President of the Publishers Union, Dr. Abdul-Wahab Al-Radi, in the presence of several heads of publishing houses, 28/3/2022, the reality of Iraqi publishing houses and the most important obstacles facing their work.
His Eminence stressed the importance of book fairs, especially the Baghdad International Book Fair. And the necessity of sustaining this national activity with clear and agreed-upon timings annually.
His Eminence made it clear that book fairs are part of the life messages that Iraq releases internally and for its Arab neighbors. H.E. also called for their multiplicity and for them to be at varying times to allow the public to follow more than one exhibition, praising the recent book fair in Najaf.
