Sayyid Al-Hakeem praises Iraqi sports facilities, calls for maintenance, preservation
In Basra Al-Fayhaa, and during his visit to its sports city, Sayyid. Ammar Al-Hakim, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, toured the flower expo held on its land and had a pause with its athletes and pioneers, where he met the international player Hadi Ahmed and several heads of clubs and sports institutions and renewed congratulations for ban lift on Iraqi stadiums and the return of international activities to our stadiums, expressing his happiness with this great sports edifice and meeting Basra’s sports statures.
His Eminence praised the history of Al-Mina Sports Club as one of the most important sports clubs in Basra, its achievements, and its great presence in Iraqi sports, expressing his hope that it would return to its glory through the efforts of its benevolent sons.
In his speech, His Eminence said that sport is an important entry point for measuring the vitality of peoples, and it is a culture and a building for spirit, vitality, and activity, all of which are essential for human advancement.
Pointing out that Iraq in the past two decades has been one of the advanced countries in building stadiums and sports facilities, calling for attention to these edifices, perpetuating them, and working to maintain them so that they remain a title for Iraqi sports to turn into stations for building youth.
His Eminence called to provide economic and investment projects within sports facilities to achieve self-sufficiency, indicating the importance of unifying sports laws to serve sports and athletes.
