    Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Pope’s visit is Iraq’s station to recover its religious status

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, recalled the visit of His Holiness, Pope Francis to Iraq and considered it as a step on the path of recovering Iraq’s religious status as the birthplace of Abrahamic Religions.
    His Eminence tweeted “the first memory of His Holiness, Pope Francis’s visit to Iraq and meeting the Supreme Religious Reference, Imam Al-Sistani (may he long live) is here and we can sense the bright image that Islam has sent out to the whole world on the importance of peace and tolerance in the human life, and the human society’s need for harmony and diversity.”
    His Eminence reassured that this event and the visit of his Holiness to the cultural City of Ur and visiting numerous churches in Baghdad and Mosul and preform a holy mass service in Erbil. This has represented a station for Iraq on its path to recover its religious status as its the birthplace of the Abrahamic Religions and the rest of religions.
