Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem discusses political developments scene, calls for talks for Moscow & Kyiv with RU Ambassador
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, met his Excellency Elbrus Kutrashev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in his office today, 20 February 2022, and discussed with him the ways in which to enhance bilateral ties between Iraq and Russia, and the Iraqi, regional, and international political scene and its developments.
His Eminence stated that Iraq is open to everyone and seeks to establish the best relations with the countries of the world based on common interests and preservation of sovereignty.
Regarding Iraqi Politically, His Eminence reiterated the need to expedite the resolution of the constitutional entitlements and the upcoming government, provided that a government that serves its people can start with the priorities and address crises. H.E. has indicated that the current political crisis that Iraq is experiencing is solvable if seriousness and political will are available.
His Eminence called to solve the outstanding problems between Moscow and Kyiv through dialogue and diplomatic means to spare the region and the world wars and their consequences that will reflect on everyone.
