Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to transform economic agreements with China into operational programs
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Zhang Tao in his office in Baghdad, Wednesday, 9 February 2022, and exchanged with him views on the developments in the political situation in Iraq and the region and the bilateral ties between Baghdad and Beijing.
H.E. stressed the importance of economic cooperation with China and all other countries wishing to work in Iraq based on joint cooperation to achieve benefit and economic development. H.E. also indicated the importance of transforming the agreements between Iraq and China into operational programs on the ground.
During the meeting, His Eminence stated that Iraq is one to all in a manner that ensures its interests and rights. H.E. referred to the Iraqi political situation and his vision on a possible solution to the political crises in Iraq if the will to resolve was present and political parties give priority to the public interest over any other interest.
His Eminence stressed the formation of a government that serves its people, capable of providing services and providing job opportunities, wishing the ambassador success in his new duties at the end of his mission in Iraq.
