The text of the speech of Sayyid Al-Hakeem on 1st Rajab Iraqi Martyr’s Day in Shaheed Al-Mihrab in the Holy Najaf 4/2/2022 - 1443AH

In the name of of Allah the most Merciful, the most Gracious 

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad, his pure family, his chosen companions, and the righteous servants of Allah.

 O Allah, we complain to You that we have lost Your Prophet (Peace be upon him and his family), the absence of our guardian, the large number of our enemies, the small number of us, the severity of temptation against us, and the time over us,so pray upon Muhammad and his family, and help us in that with a victory from you that hastens it, a harm that you uncover, a victory that cherishes him, a rightful authority that you manifest, and a mercy from you that we exalted, and wellness from you that we clothe with your mercy, O Most Merciful. 

O sons and daughters of the Mihrab Martyr and the Aziz of Iraq from the organizations of Al-Hikma, loyalists and lovers from all over Iraq.

 They have always bet on your loyalty, sincerity and love for your project, the project of moderation.

 The project of unity and sovereignty. Your project that the martyrs and the faithful in our beloved Iraq have written with their blood.

 They bet and every time you win the bet.

 With your unity, determination and sincerity on the covenant and promise..

 You were, and still are loyal to your project, victorious for the rights of your people.

 They never faltered, nor did they bow before the storms of accusations and gossip.

 The attempts of the treacherous and the losers of their religion and country have not weakened your resolve.

 You are the family and the clan..and you are the solace during hardships, adversities and twists and turns..

Today, we meet in the midst of the shrine of the Mihrab Martyr and the Aziz of Iraq (May Allah sanctify their secret).. and in the presence of these two men who vowed their honorable life for the sake of the elevation of the Iraqis and the victory of their values ​​and principles, and their freedom to live in dignity.

They were true to the saying of Almighty: (Men who were true to what they covenanted with Allah).

 Our annual meeting on (The Iraqi Martyr's Day) to commemorate the immortal Mihrab Martyr. It never was a passing meeting..

 Rather, it is our station where we gather to renew our loyalty and adherence to our project and our responsibility towards our country and our people.

 Let us stand at the magnitude of the challenges that require a responsible and wise stance.

 And let us address the immortal Mihrab Martyr next to him, with sad hearts, burning minds, and proud souls, chanting with confidence and steadfastness that, O Abu Sadiq, we are walking on your path.. and the covenant will remain..

And your banner is raised..and we are committed to your approach..and in your way and the way of your forefathers are steadfast..and ready for martyrdom and sacrifice.

Through this great national meeting, we will review our organizational and political paths.

 We correct what is necessary.. let us move forward at a steady pace.. and unrelenting determination..

 And on every occasion, the masses of Al-Hikma are getting stronger and stronger in the face of the challenges and difficulties facing their project and their true national cause.

 Rather, every year, they increase their awareness and belief in the correctness of the path they have chosen over other political and social paths.

 My brothers, sisters and loved ones..

 The challenges are cause for cohesion, and determination.. and you have always witnessed huge challenges and attempts have sought to scatter your national vote and block it from the political arena.

 You were the best proof of the covenant and the promise.

 You were the best advocate for the cause and the project.

 O sons and daughters of the Mihrab Martyr and the Aziz of Iraq, the features and constants of this honorable line are the same principles and values ​​(human, Islamic and national) that our scholars, martyrs and leaders walked on, and we will never deviate from this path, the path of truth, for an iota, for we are the sons of the school of the Mihrab Martyr. The school of the decent community, the dignified state, and the united, dignified, capable Iraqi nation, which was and still takes nationalism, moderation as a platform to achieve its goals and a compass for its movement, discourse, and social, cultural, intellectual and political behavior.

We know very well that the electoral results were not fair with you.. Rather, we know very well that there are hands that wanted to undermine your real presence and size and keep you away from the sovereignty of the decision in the next stage.

 Were it not for our keenness to support the democratic process in Iraq, and our adherence to our national approach, which puts Iraq's interests ahead of any other interest...We would have had a different stance on the whole electoral process..but we did our best not to be the first to be blessed with the course of the electoral process in order to preserve the interests of the people and the country.

 And through you, dear steadfast, we say to those who wanted to harm you:

 "Help your cunning and expand your effort.. By Allah, do not erase our remembrance."

 We will increase in resolve and confidence, the more cunning  you become.

 We will increase love and concern for our project.. the more you increase hatred and envy..

 We will become more cohesive and united, the more you go too far in your malicious plans.

 We will move forward towards preserving Iraq's interests and its unity... the more you become greedy and cling to your own gains and interests.

 You will not be able to undermine these masses who believe in their leadership and project.

 And you will not be able to prevent them from fulfilling their national duty towards Iraq and its people.. They will impress you in their social and political field.. They are people of actions, not words.

People of determination and perseverance.

 People of loyalty and sincerity..

 Years and years have experienced them..so they were lions when telling the truth

 And they were (the mother of the boy) when special interests were intertwined..

 They were the refuge in times of adversity, adversity and dilemmas.

 We believe that work can only be complemented by assimilation with the Iraqi nation and its concerns, and through confronting, challenging and defending for its sake. 

 Interact with it through good and bad, away from isolation, factionalism, fanaticism, and narrow partisanship, and away from disunity, dispersal, sparring and bickering. Here are our leaders, the Mihrab Martyr and the Aziz of Iraq, the leaders of unity, compassion and harmony and symbols of synergy, cooperation and solidarity, and we can never retreat from these original principles.

 The unity of our word, the unification of our ranks, and the realization of our ambitions and goals must start from here... and from the largest social component in the country, as a prelude to our unity at the level of the whole country.

 We cannot expect to achieve national unity if the largest component is scattered, conflicting, overlapping. May Allah not allow.

Shiite nationalism, whose slogan and banner we raised and defended vigorously, means combating division and dispersion in the inner house first, in preparation

for containing other decent components away from sectarianism, racism, marginalization and exclusion.

- The unity of the largest social component must be the first goal for all of us and for the other components seeking stability, rights, partnership, balance, cooperation and coexistence.

- We are the first to support the unity of the Kurdish political ranks and the Sunni political ranks in the country, and we respect the social peculiarities proposed by our dear and beloved brothers, but we want it to be a unity that paves the way for greater national unity.. not at the expense of the unity of the larger component, its rights, existence, roles and extensions!

- I am talking to the honorable Kurdish and Sunni political parties in Iraq, and I appeal to them to work on what we have done together to save the country from the clutches of strife, division and intersection towards stability, security and prosperity, and not to send 

wrong messages that hurt the feelings of their partners in the country from the sons of the largest social component.

- I emphasize that a narrow or expanded national majority would have no meaning without producing a successful service government that puts on its shoulders specific realistic priorities with clear time limits.

- A narrow or expanded majority is not an end in itself. Rather, it is a way of governance in order to secure the interests and rights of the people.

- If the narrow national majority sponsors this without threatening the rights of the largest component of the people, then let us proceed with it. 

And if the expanded majority is in favor of the path of the required government service and the desired success and prioritizes it over private interests, then they are welcome..A successful service government is the goal that must be presented to our political behavior under any name.

Hence, I call on all the confrontational political forces.. to put the interest of Iraq and the interest of the component they represent in mind.. and not to renounce of the unity of the largest component in Iraq.. without this unity we will pay a heavy cost.. neglecting the unity will be a great blemish to the blood that was shed defending for the right of the largest component and the rights of all Iraqis in the past decades.

 - We call on the international community and all brothers and friends to take a position of neutrality and understanding of the course of the internal dialogue and its outcomes, and not to tamper with the strategy of a united, strong Iraq, at the expense of open, immediate and useless tactics.

 - The Iraqi blood is forbidden for everyone, and Shiite blood is forbidden for everyone, and security and stability are red lines that cannot be crossed, violated or manipulated. Everyone must exercise restraint, be patient, and resort to peaceful and legal tools to

solve problems and differences.

Dear brothers and sisters...we have previously announced and we announce it again, that we will be satisfied with our parliamentary, social and political roles in serving the people of our regions and people, and we will not participate in the next government, but we declare it explicitly that we will support our brothers who face responsibility, hoping for major achievements and successes on their hands, and we will be the first to support them for every service that lifts our regions out of their crises and needs.

 - National sovereignty is a top priority in all circumstances..Today we have security and military expertise that enables us to rely on ourselves without the need for foreign military forces.. All we need is the real will to activate the elements of power available to build an integrated, professional and non-compromised military system. The next government should be serious in building this system and take advantage of the diversity of the joints of military institution, including the Army, the Police, the Counter-terrorism, the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Peshmerga in forming a unified and inclusive national military doctrine. And beware of  renouncing in the institution of the Popular Mobilization Forces .. This institution that has offered the most precious in order to meet the call of the homeland and defend it and protect its people.
Fighting the subversive agendas targeting our society, foremost of which are drug mafias, corruption, domestic violence and other abnormal societal phenomena, should be the next government's first priority, along with construction and reconstruction campaigns.

 - Addressing the unemployment of young people with diplomas and poor and marginalized families, developing the country’s economy and getting rid of economic dependence and single-income earning are all major goals that must be pursued and achieved.

 I also call on all the parties participating in the next government to empower youth competencies and energies in the joints of the state and its institutions. Those young people who have made sacrifices of sincerity and shed their pure blood in the protest arenas, searching for the dignity and prestige of their country and homeland, and their rights and roles in local governments and in the federal government should not be neglected.

 I also invite you, sons and daughters of the Mihrab Martyr and the Aziz of Iraq, to ​​religious and moral commitment, so that we can be an example for others when we start with ourselves first and purify our souls.. and rely on Allah in all our affairs..and be those who are equipped with piety..and have not preferred the life of this world..and consider the hereafter as good and lasting.

 I also call on my sisters, the daughters of Al-Hikma to adhere to the Islamic hijab, observe modesty and chastity, and avoid mixing with men as much as possible.

 - I also call you to work for the unity of minds and hearts in your areas away from the scourge of partisanship and factionalism, and to cooperate in providing service to your people with diligent field work, and do not forget that I honor you among the people with the most humble, service and work.

- I said it before and I will renew it today..the closest to Ammar Al-Hakim.. is the one who serves your people the most..

He is not one of us who is not a servant to people first.

And not one of us who was not worthy of people’s trust and concerns.

 Hence, I call everyone to abide by:

 reviving regional service initiatives in coordination with local governments... each according to his region,

 And that the organizational hierarchy is based on those service initiatives.. the most of you serve the people.. the most of you are the leaders in the organization. I call you for social solidarity in preparing practical workshops that contribute to providing real job opportunities for our graduates and the unemployed, and overcoming the obstacles in front of them.

- Your heads will remain high and your determination high as you 

lower the wing of humility to your people and adhere to your Movement and its national message and national discourse.

 - I want to advise you to take care of the families of the martyrs and the poor, because they are the children of Allah, and our value lies in serving them, following up on their affairs, and working for them.

- Unite your hearts and trust in Allah and hold on to your values ​​and principles, and Allah will write you victory, success and happiness in both worlds.

Turn the unfairness and your usurped rights into an iron will, redoubled efforts, and continuous perseverance, and we will recover the lost rights together with other rounds and arrivals.. That is Allah’s promise to the believers, and Allah does not break the promise.

- Palestine issue will remain the central issue before us, and we will adhere to the rights of the Palestinian people and stand with them in all circumstances, and Iraq will remain immune to all attempts at normalization with the usurping Zionist entity.

 - Peace be upon the martyrs of Iraq, peace be upon the honorables of Iraq, and peace be upon every sincere person who strives to serve our Iraqi people.

 And peace be upon the Supreme Religious Authority, and peace be upon our valiant armed forces, the army, the police, the counter-terrorism forces, the Popular Mobilisation Forces and the Peshmerga.

 And peace be upon Al-Sadr two martyrs, the Mihrab Martyr, the ambassador of the Religious Authority and the Aziz of Iraq, and may peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you.
