Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses political scene developments, first parliamentary hearing challenges with Joint Kurdish delegation
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, received the delegation of the two joint Kurdish parties headed by Mr. Emad Ahmed on Saturday, 8 January 2022, and discussed with them the political affair and the challenges of the 5th parliamentary session, the preparations for the first hearing, and the associated constitutional timings.
His Eminence affirmed the necessity of all parties to have the responsibility and put the public interest first when expressing stances showing that the experiences Iraq had gone through, prove that everyone needs everyone else. No party can be in isolation from what happens in Iraq. H.E. valued the united stand of the Kurdish brothers and called to haste the formation of the government and address the people’s needs and their priorities.
