Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses political scene developments with French Ambassador, calls to put public interest first when making decisions
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, discussed the development of the political scene, the bilateral ties between Paris and Baghdad, and the exchange of expertise in construction and development with His Excellency the French Ambassador to Iraq, Éric Chevalier on Thursday, 6 January 2022.
His Eminence illustrated the nature of the Iraqi political scene and emphasized prioritizing the public interest when expressing political stances, as well as the importance of dialogue and its sustainability, and having the culture of concession to Iraq to put an end to the political crises.
His Eminence stressed the importance of forming a government that serves its people and said that the people are expecting a government that achieves its aspirations when it comes to services, job opportunities, preservation of sovereignty, and combating terrorism.
His Eminence also pointed to the importance of strengthening the cooperation between Baghdad and Paris and called to the exchanging of expertise in reconstruction and development. And to invest in the opportunities that Iraq presents to achieve sustainable development.
