Sayyid Al-Hakeem receives Dr. Salih Al-Mutleq, stresses avoiding political blockage negatively impacting people’s daily lives
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, received Dr. Salih Al-Mutleq, head of the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue on Saturday, November 6, 2021, and discussed the Iraqi political scene developments, the results of the recent elections, and the latest updates on the powers objecting to the results.
His Eminence affirmed that peaceful demonstrations and the freedom of expression are Iraqi constitutional rights, the security services must protect demonstrators, and called everyone to remain calm and avoid escalation and place the Iraqi people and Iraqi interests above all other interests.
His Eminence also reiterated his position towards reviewing all of the appeals and complaints by the IHEC or the Judicial Institution and redress the objecting powers and stressed that the necessity of presenting the government that will serve its people and avoids the political blockage that will reflect negatively on the people in their daily lives.
