Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem meets Al-Jaheesh Clan’s Sheiks and Dignitaries, emphasizes adherence to Religious Reference’s conditions to vote
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, received a gathering of Sheiks and Dignitaries of Al-Jaheesh clan in northern Babil on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, and recalled the shared history with the clan and its icons and persons. H.E. discussed politics and how to relieve the country of its current crises and transition to the stability phase. While illustrating the direct correlation between Iraq’s strength and the challenges it faces.
His Eminence stated that the power of Iraq is feared by those who attempt to weaken it and encircle it with crises, and reiterated that this doesn’t mean giving up and complaining. Rather, it means working and changing the reality and spreads out reassurance messages. H.E. also said that holding on to the path of truth and the right path is not as easy, and the one defending it might have to pay the price twice, get defamed, and questioned. Not even messengers of Allah were safe from it, including our prophet “may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him and his family” that today is the memory of his death.
His Eminence called everyone to breach the traditional frameworks of the elections, where H.E. affirmed that the cross-component alliance was the solution for Iraq’s issue for the role it plays in ending voting based on narrow slogans in favor of the national one. Yet, the project was met with personal wishes and readout of some. In addition, H.E. called for broad and conscious participation in the elections and to choose the most competent, the right, and the most integral. It’s imperative to obey the conditions set by the Supreme Religious Authority in its recent statement.
