International Week of the Deaf: Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem calls to support the deaf, provide advanced education
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, demanded the concerned authorities to support the deaf and provide them with education opportunities, His Eminence tweeted on Monday, September 27, 2021, “On the International Week of the Deaf, we affirm our belief that the disabled people have a tremendous amount of creativity that is on hold. The legislative and the executive authority has the responsibility of developing it and investing in it. We demand the concerned authorities to support the deaf and provide them with advanced education through establishing specialized teaching institutions.”
His Eminences stressed ensuring their jobs rights and provide work opportunities in the government and the private sector. In addition, intensify the work to raise awareness to accept them and have more inclusivity in society.
