Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem urges Sayyid Al-Sadr to refrain elections withdrawal decision

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, urged his Eminence Sayyid Muqtada to refrain from his decision to withdraw from the forthcoming elections.
His Eminence tweeted on Friday, July 16, 2021, “We urge our brother, His Eminence, Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr, to refrain from his decision to drop out of the forthcoming elections, and to continue the joint national effort, and to not deprive the field of a very important segment and an effective one.” Stating that Iraq is entering a phase, we can at least call delicate and dangerous, affirming that maintaining democracy, and not turning inward on it is the sole way to address the failures, reinforce the positives, and do justice to the people who aspire to obtain legitimate and obstructed rights.
