Sayyid Al-Hakeem Continues Ramadan Lectures on Epistle on Rights by Imam Ali ibn Al-Hussein, Al-Sajjad (PBUT)
As part of his ongoing Ramadan lectures, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, continued his in-depth explanation of Epistle on Rights by Imam Ali ibn Al-Hussein, Al-Sajjad (peace be upon him). In his previous lecture, H.E. discussed the effect of prayer, particularly in relation to the tenth right—the right of prayer.
In this context, Sayyid Al-Hakeem elaborated on the transformative effects of prayer, emphasizing its role in making a person among Al-Mukhbiteen—those who humbly submit to Allah. H.E. highlighted the moral and spiritual values instilled through prayer, such as patience in the face of trials and hardships, drawing on the example of Prophet Ayyub (peace be upon him), who became a symbol of perseverance in times of adversity.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem also underscored the significance of truthfulness in a believer’s life, referencing the Qur'anic verse: "Those who are truthful", stressing the necessity of adhering to religious principles in all aspects of life. H.E. further spoke about prayer’s role in attaining success and prosperity, citing Qur'anic verses that call for distancing from sin and strengthening one’s connection with Allah.
Concluding his lecture, Sayyid Al-Hakeem reaffirmed that the teachings within Epistle on Rights extend beyond spiritual aspects, profoundly influencing an individual’s social and ethical life.
