Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses industrial sector state with Industry Minister, stresses stability preservation, promote balanced openness
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met this Monday evening, 9 December 2025, with Minister of Industry Mr. Khalid Al-Battal at His Eminence's office in Baghdad. The discussion focused on the state of the industrial sector in Iraq and the challenges facing upcoming industrial development plans, particularly those related to strengthening national production and expanding industrial investment.
The meeting also reviewed the political landscape following the elections and the announcement of their results, which carried clear messages affirming the people’s commitment to the democratic process, the peaceful transfer of power, and growing confidence in constitutional mechanisms and relevant institutions.
H.E. underscored the importance of safeguarding stability in Iraq, considering the political, social, and security achievements of recent years as a national asset that must be protected and reinforced. H.E. stressed the need to continue pursuing a balanced openness toward both regional and international partners and to work in a spirit of complementarity, with all parties assuming their responsibilities toward the higher national interest.
