    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Abu Alaa Al-Walaei, Affirms Adherence to Constitutional Timelines, Prioritizes National Interest

    His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received Mr. Abu Alaa Al-Walaei in his Baghdad office, where their discussions centered on the political scene updates in Iraq, especially following the recent parliamentary elections and the positive results they produced, including strong voter participation and broad public support for the political system.
    H.E. emphasized the importance of respecting the constitutional timelines for selecting the three presidencies, noting that convergence among political powers is essential to form the next government within the required timeframe and then directing efforts toward serving citizens and advancing governmental programs.
    H.E. affirmed the need to thoroughly examine the challenges confronting the country and to prioritize national imperatives, urging all parties to place the public interest above individual considerations in order to reinforce stability and support the nation’s development trajectory.
