    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Congratulates Shaab Hospital People, Emphasizes Health Sector Reform Importance

    From inside Shaab General Hospital, a major medical facility in Baghdad, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with a group of doctors and medical staff, offering his congratulations on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of devotion and forgiveness. H.E. expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts made by healthcare workers.
    In his conversation with the medical staff, H.E. Al-Hakeem emphasized the importance of providing hospitals and healthcare services. H.E. pointed out that the difficult circumstances Iraq has faced, including wars and challenges, had a significant impact on delivering adequate healthcare. H.E. called for utilizing international expertise to develop and improve the healthcare system in Iraq.
    H.E. Al-Hakeem noted that seven hospitals had been handed over to international entities, including European countries, and called for the success of this initiative to ensure the best possible medical services. H.E. expressed hope that the Turkish doctors working at Shaab Hospital would help improve the quality of healthcare.
    H.E. Al-Hakeem stressed the importance of training Iraqi personnel, particularly in administrative and technical areas, to ensure advanced and efficient hospital management. H.E. confirmed the urgent need for modern systems to organize work, maintain hospitals, and enhance the quality of services.
    In concluding his remarks, H.E. Al-Hakeem stated that Iraq's situation has started to stabilize after years of hardship, with security, political, and social stability. H.E. praised the progress made in construction and reconstruction efforts and added that the presence of Turkish doctors in Iraq is a positive step toward achieving stability. He expressed hope that Shaab Hospital would become a model for the country's healthcare sector.
