Sayyid Al-Hakeem congratulates over new school year, calls to redress educators, update curricula, integrate school and family
At the onset of the new school year, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, conducted a visit to several schools in Baghdad, extending his congratulations to the students, teachers, and administrative staff on 1/10/2023, and commemorated the Noble Birth of the Prophet Muhammad “May the blessings of Allah be upon him”. His Eminence expressed his rejoice at the alignment of the school year's commencement with this auspicious occasion.
H.E. reiterated that the Islamic message has consistently stressed the paramount importance of knowledge and education. H.E. referenced Quranic verses and venerable Prophetic Hadiths that underscore the significance of seeking knowledge, urging individuals to pursue it with diligence and embrace its responsibilities.
H.E. also stressed the need for modernizing and enhancing educational curricula to keep pace with scientific progress. H.E. stressed the inclusion of Iraq's rich history and the achievements of its people within the curricula. Additionally, H.E. emphasized the essential synergy between educational institutions and families as the twin pillars in shaping the future generations.
H.E. called for the recognition and support of educators, both financially and morally. H.E. highlighted the critical importance of careful planning at every step of the educational process.
H.E. also stressed the significance of investing in educational facilities and the construction of schools, as they serve as the foundation for nurturing forthcoming generations.
