Sayyid Al-Hakeem receives Prime Minister, stresses combating corruption file a priority, not to hesitate to strike corrupts
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received the Prime Minister, His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, and renewed congratulations to His Excellency, his Cabinet Office, and his program for obtaining the Iraqi Parliament vote of confidence on 1/11/2022. They discussed the updates on the Iraqi and regional political affairs and how the government can dedicate its work to serve our people and combat corruption for the need for this government to be the truest testimony of a national service government.
His Eminence listened to His Excellency on the priorities of his office and their practical steps toward these issues. Moreover, both have emphasized the importance of the political powers to support and aid this government. This is because reform is a joint responsibility that everyone must bear, especially powers that participate in the government. H.E. also emphasized prioritizing combating corruption, striking the corrupt in legal and constitutional ways, and supporting oversight institutions.
H.E. indicated the importance of investing the financial abundance to improve the economic and social reality and to diversify income sources. H.E. called upon the government and security services to strike terrorism in its nest and to strengthen the relations with neighboring countries and the world based on the national interest and Iraqi sovereignty.
