Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets Saudi Crown Prince bin Salman to confirm… Iraqi crisis’s solutions must be Iraqi without external pressures
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met at the outset of his visit to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman today, Thursday, 18/8/2022. Where H.E. emphasized during the meeting the close historical ties between the brotherly peoples, ways to enhance them, strengthen them, and deepen these brotherly bonds.
His Eminence pointed out the importance of integration between the two current brotherly countries and its positive impact on the various cultural, economic, and scientific cooperation sectors, especially since the two countries represent a regional and international economic weight and the necessity of investing in the current rise in oil prices in developing the industrial and economic infrastructure of both countries.
His Eminence praised the development plans of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, especially the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and the positive repercussions of those plans on the countries of the region in general and Iraq in particular while addressing the developments in the Iraqi arena. H.E. stressed that dialogue between the various parties is the best way to reach satisfactory solutions to the current political impasse in Iraq and stressed that solutions must remain Iraqi without any external pressures.
His Eminence pointed out the importance of Saudi support for the climate crisis in Iraq, warning of the need to find scientific solutions that would contribute to limiting the effects of this dangerous crisis.
Regionally, H.E. praised the humanitarian truce in Yemen with the need to consolidate it and put final solutions to the crisis of this long-suffering Arab country. H.E. also pointed out the importance of stability on both sides of the Gulf, praising the Iraqi role in mediating between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its positive repercussions on the peoples of the region.
H.E. stressed that reaching a new nuclear agreement must be an opportunity for the various parties to look at the future positively and to search for participants that contribute to strengthening stability in the region. H.E. also emphasized the importance of legislating laws that satisfy the Arab peoples at the next summit in Algeria to put an end to the frustration of the Arabic scene and to emphasize the centrality of the Palestinian cause and the importance of its survival as a symbol of the unification of the Arab peoples.
