Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Al-Nujaifi, Stresses Facing Challenges with Unity, National Cohesion
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with the Secretary-General of Al-Mutahidun “United” Party, Mr. Osama Al-Nujaifi, and the party’s political bureau. During the meeting, His Eminence focused on the latest political developments in Iraq and the region, particularly the situation in Syria. H.E. praised the government's efforts and diplomatic approach in addressing regional matters, reaffirming the need for unity and national cohesion to tackle ongoing challenges.
H.E. also affirmed the importance of supporting the government’s developmental and service initiatives while stressing the necessity of approving budget amendments that enhance revenues and promote social justice. Additionally, H.E. emphasized the shared responsibility of all parties in safeguarding the political, social, and security stability achieved through the sacrifices of the Iraqi people from all components.
Moreover, H.E. called for revitalizing productive sectors to reduce Iraq’s reliance on oil prices. H.E. urged a prudent and balanced approach to addressing regional challenges while ensuring the highest level of security preparedness across all security institutions
